Digital Red by Night, Black by Day

A Tale of Magick and Enlightenment, Faerie Folk and the Black Country!
Red by Night, Black by Day made its debut in issue 5 of The77 Comic. The narrative is set against the backdrop of England's industrial heartland, reflecting the origins of the writer, Jo Heeley. It intertwines elements of fantasy and the occult with the historical context of Birmingham and the Black Country, featuring real figures and groups from the Midlands Enlightenment. Initially illustrated by Rupert Lewis-Jones, Morby has contributed a new, unpublished strip to this collected edition, as well as the concluding story in the current arc.
This collected edition of the comic strip introduces a nefarious group of scientists, alchemists, and philosophers, known as the Luna Society. It also follows Olla, a young Goblin, as she searches for her missing friend and discovers more mysterious disappearances among the Portal Folk.
A few words about RBNBBD:
"Fantasy meets the mean streets of Birmingham as Jo Heeley and Rupert Lewis Jones change history as we know it." - Rob Lake (Geek Culture Reviews)
"Delightful." - Steve MacManus, Editor and Writer (Starlord, 2000AD, CRISIS Judge Dredd Megazine and BLAZER!)
"It's as if Charles Dickens and Anne McCaffrey birthed a tale - combining his gritty reality and her elegant fantasy - with Jo Heeley as the midwife who brought forth this unique story to the world. Her complex characters and familiar situations ring true to readers. The exquisite artwork completes this marvellous creation." - Victoria Jakubowski (MarkWHO 42 Radio show)
